The plot is 860 m² on the north edge of Ericeira, behind a row of fishermen’s houses, with the sea over their roofs. The municipal plan allows two storeys here. We asked for one.

A second storey would have taken the view from the six houses behind us. Mónica Leal drew a single floor, set 1.2 metres into the ground, with the roof at the height of the neighbours’ garden walls: rasa, flush. From the street you see a wall and a door.

Where the build is now

The walls were finished in August 2026 and the roof slab was poured on 9 September. Glazing goes in during November, and we expect to finish in the second quarter of 2027. The photographs here are of the shell; we will replace them as it changes.

Buying now means choosing the kitchen, the stone and the floor finish. The price holds until completion.
